Rusty 80s GT BMX Pro Freestyle World Tour Performer Frame + Fork Standers set
Full set of 80s "RUSTY" GT BMX Frame + Fork Standers. The fork standers are the earliest PAT. The GT stamps are all there but some covered badly with rust.
Im not sure a rust remover bath will make it so the GT stamp is fully visible on every stamp again. Under the rusty chrome their may be pitting on them in a few areas. The frame stands were originally white but that finish is gone and they are covered in rust. The sprocket side one the GT stamp logo is clean and nice. Then non sprocket side the GT stamp is covered over with rust but still visable. This full set needs to be soaked in a rust remover bath and the fork standers possibly have the chrome stripped prior to restoring. But I give zero guarantees that after doing so all the GT stamps will be clean and visible. Or you can leave them as-is and use them on a daily beater. Or mount then as-is on a show bike and give it that old rusty steam punk custom vintage look. The patina on them is definitely a one of a kind patina that would be very difficult to recreate again. These were originally mounted on a white 1985 GT Pro Performer that used to belong to a rider of GT. I forget who tho as it was many years ago when I got it.
