Skyway 20 freewheel retro old school BMX bicycle 5 spoke mag wheels wheelset - WHITE. Brand new Skyway 20 5-spoke wheelset (front and rear included) - the wheel you loved as a kid, but now better sealed bearings!
SIZE: 20" (406mm ISO bead diameter) - uses 1.75"-2.125 wide tires. HUB SPACING: 100mm FRONT / 110mm REAR. DRIVETRAIN: SINGLE SPEED, 16T or larger freewheel.
Axle size: 3/8 front and rear. NOTE: Skyway mag wheels do not have a lip for the tire bead to "pull" against. Therefore, installing tires on these wheels is a challenge. You must first mount the tire/tube on the wheel and add just enough air to give the tire form.Then position/center the tire on the wheel, inflate a bit more, adjust the tire, etc. Until the tire is positioned evenly on the wheel before fully inflating the tire. IMPORTANT: There is no substitute for MEASURING your bike before ordering. While there are some rule of thumb standard for bikes from a specific era, there are no absolutes.
